The Toro Company Announces 2026 Scholarship Recipients Across Its Global Locations
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (September 9, 2026) – Supporting the educational goals of employees and their families is a core component of The Toro Company’s philanthropic support. As part of this effort, two annual scholarship programs are available to employees and their dependents through both The Toro Company Scholarship Program and the Mike and Tami Hoffman Scholarship Program. In 2026, more than $400,000 in financial grants were awarded to 177 students representing 16 TTC communities.
Since 1976, The Toro Company Scholarship Program has awarded students based on academic record, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors and work experience, along with educational and career goals. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the scholarship program and The Toro Company’s partnership with Scholarship America as its first corporate client. Additionally, the Mike and Tami Hoffman Scholarship Program, founded by former CEO Mike Hoffman and his wife Tami in 2017, awards scholarships to students based primarily on financial need, while also considering academic and personal achievement. Scholarship awards for both programs range from $1,000 to $4,000.
“Our commitment to educational advancement has long been a priority at The Toro Company,” said Marnie Wells, president of The Toro Company Foundation. “We are proud to celebrate five decades of partnership with Scholarship America and a strong legacy of supporting employees and their families as they pursue higher education.”
